Kay Sleking (1968) has his roots in both the Netherlands and Kenya. However, he grew up in a suburb of Amsterdam, the Bijlmer. He drew and made music at a young age. After working for a graphic design agency, music caught his attention and, after studying classical guitar at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Rotterdam, he became a performing musician and performs internationally.
Kay Sleking decided to resume visual arts in addition to making music, traveling from one art discipline to another. His birds and seascapes stand for spaciousness, dynamism and stillness. His paintings are bought by art lovers from various countries of the world; from the Bahamas, Modena, Cologne, Amsterdam, Paris to Zurich.
