When I am working on a painting I feel that I have to let it go before it is purchased. And even before it is ready. That makes the process something very special, because it is part of a larger whole instead of a personal expression.
I am happy if a painting stays with me for a while, but I am very happy when it becomes part of someone else’s world. Two paintings were purchased today by an art collector from Austria; a sea sonnet and a flock of terns.
I am now enjoying Two Storks.
